Introduction

Elastic Path offers a variety of training curricula or learning paths designed to familiarize you with the EP product offerings, and in some cases tools or technologies used which maybe encountered when implementing projects using Elastic Path products.

The Elastic Path Learning Center online learning management system facilitates delivery of a course and its materials. Upon provisioning of your user account you can access the system. Once you log in, any courses assigned to you by our trainers are displayed on your dashboard. You are required to complete these courses. A library of additonal courses is also available. Courses are always available, and are good sources for initial knowledge development as well as providing you with a good resource to refresh your knowledge as needed long-term.

This section outlines the various learning paths and corresponding course descriptions currently offered. If you would like more information or would like to schedule training sessions, please contact the Education Team (education@elasticpath.com).

  • A learning path is developed at a competency group level. It pulls together all the information a given role or competency needs to know, and is an overarching plan for acquiring that knowledge. (For example, Solution Architect, Developer, etc)
  • A course is developed to cover a specific subject and so may be leveraged by multiple learning paths. It outlines all the topics to be discussed or reviewed. (For example, EP110: Core Product Knowledge, DE230: Commerce Integration Platform (Cortex))
  • A module is a detailed piece of information on a specific topic. Courses are composed of modules. (For example, Introduction to JMS 1, Introduction to Promotions)

There are various means by which a module is delivered:

  • Self serve - module or content is delivered via the Elastic Path Learning Center and can be taken within your schedule and timeframe. Note, the actual format of the module may be watching a video, reading a document, etc.
  • Instructor-led (ILT) - module or content is delivered during a planned or scheduled session. The sessions may be held in-person or could also be delivered via a webex or conference depending upon the actual subject of the module.

Learning Paths

Courses available may be used by multiple learning paths. Within each learning path assigned to you, the complete set of courses required for completion is outlined and listed on your dashboard in the Elastic Path Learning Center .
