EPTalks is an informal education program based on organized and regularly scheduled webinars. Topics covered in each session are presented by a select individual or a panel or specialists made up of internal Elastic Path staff members and/or external guest speakers. The goal of each talk is to present information on the selected topic based on experience and knowledge and to present the information in a frank and open manner. The topics selected are generally more technical in nature and may appeal to various roles within your organization. From these sessions, it is hoped those in attendance will be provided additional information helping them be more successful in various initiatives and implementation projects. Sessions are recorded and available to those registered.

In support of the launching the new major version of Elastic Path Commerce, we have a series of EPTalks scheduled to help you better understand the exciting changes.

1. What's New in Elastic Path Commerce 7.0 - July 13th at 9:00am (PDT). The Elastic Path Commerce admin interface is now web-based, and we have retired the Commerce Manager thick client. This change provides the obvious benefit of not having to download an application to administer Elastic Path Commerce, as well as providing an improved user interface, better performance, test automation and faster development. In this release, we also:
   • Enhanced security and code quality
   • Added new capabilities to EP CloudOps for AWS
   • Improved Developer Center navigation and searching
   • Added documentation and tutorials to facilitate learning
